The tour coach left from an easily accessible centrally-located boarding point. The trip was an hour long through lovely countryside.
The walled town of Carcassonne is worth a visit. It was great to see that the town is actually lived in and has plenty of local craft shops, boutiques and restaurants.
The only minor downside is that the time to be spent there was excessive. The bus arrived shortly after 10.30 a.m. and left to return to Toulouse at 4.15 p.m. We were ready to leave by 2 p.m.
However, we had a good visit to Carcassonne and recommend it for a visit.

Nos hubiese gustado disfrutar un poco más de Carcassonne, saliendo una hora más tarde de allí. Aunque nos dio tiempo a hacer la visita guiada y a comer y comprar algún recuerdo fue un poco escasa de tiempo. Por lo demás, perfecta.

El viaje fue muy bien. Tanto el conductor del autobús como la persona responsable de la oficina de turismo fueron muy amables.
Valoramos mucho la puntualidad en las actividades.
Lo único malo es que nos hubiera gustado estar allí hasta las 17:30h (llegar a las 18:30h a Toulouse), en lugar de hasta las 16:30h.

Nos robaron en Lourdes. La policía se portó muy mal. Gracias al consulado español pudimos regresar a nuestro país osea España.

Aunque nos gusto el castillo y el entorno nos hubiera gustado poder acercarnos a la Carcassone moderna.

Carcassone is beautiful but the experience is spoilt by the large number of overpriced and tacky restaurants and souvenir shops in the place
